Terms of service
Effective September 9, 2026
These terms govern your use of Indian Country Legal CMS, operated by Indian Country Legal. By using the CMS, you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organization, you must be authorized to do so. A separate written agreement with Indian Country Legal controls if it conflicts with these terms.
Accounts and access
Use an authorized account and keep your sign-in credentials secure. Your organization manages workspace membership and permissions. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and for notifying your administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share access with people who are not authorized to use your workspace.
Your organization’s information
You and your organization retain your rights in the information you provide. You authorize us to process that information to operate the requested CMS features, maintain security, and provide support in accordance with our privacy policy and any applicable written agreement.
Only upload or connect information you are authorized to use. Your organization is responsible for the accuracy of its records, appropriate access permissions, required notices and permissions, and its recordkeeping obligations.
Acceptable use
Do not use the CMS for unlawful activity, impersonation, unauthorized disclosure of confidential information, or infringement of others’ rights. Do not bypass access controls, access another organization’s records without permission, introduce malicious software, or disrupt the service.
Connected services
Google sign-in, Google reporting, and Bing Webmaster Tools are optional connections. Bing connections allow authorized administrators to view website reports and submit URLs and sitemaps. Submission does not guarantee crawling or indexing. Account administrators may connect Google Analytics and Search Console assets they are authorized to access. Reporting and indexing checks use read-only permissions. Administrators can separately grant Search Console management permission to submit sitemaps. Administrators can disconnect reporting in Integrations, and users can manage the app’s permissions through their Google Account.
Connected services remain subject to their providers’ terms and availability. Reports reflect the selected source, reporting period, and data available from that provider. Processing delays, attribution methods, consent settings, and collection settings can cause differences between website activity and Google reports. The privacy policy explains how we handle connected Google data.
Professional responsibilities
The CMS provides tools for managing information and reporting. Using the software does not itself create an attorney-client relationship or constitute legal advice. Your organization remains responsible for professional judgments, deadlines, filings, and verifying information before relying on it.
Availability and changes
We may update features and perform maintenance. Availability and reporting accuracy can be affected by outages, third-party services, and information supplied by users. Unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise, we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service or a particular reporting outcome. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot be limited by applicable law.
Ending access
You may stop using the CMS at any time. Your organization may change or remove workspace access. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect accounts and information, or comply with legal requirements.
Contact your account administrator or Indian Country Legal about account closure, records, or deletion requests. Disconnecting Google reporting does not delete your CMS records or the information held in Google Analytics or Search Console. Information handling and retention are described in the privacy policy and any applicable written agreement.
Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms and effective date on this page and provide notice of material changes through the CMS or account contact information before those changes take effect. If you do not agree to the revised terms, stop using the service and contact us about your account.
